LOEUF's stationary wins second prize at the (Re)Design awards
For the ReDesign competition, LOEUF's stationary won a second place in the non profit organization category. LOEUF's stationary is made from fabric waste. The company that makes this handmade paper and the letterpress studio are both situated within a kilometer of LOEUF's office.

LOEUF participe au programme "Classe Affaires"
For a second year in a row LOEUF welcomed two students as part of the "Classe Affaires" program. The students, Evelyn Galdamez-Morales from Antoine-de-Saint-Exupéry hign school and Juliana Barrios Gaviria from Saint-Luc high school, took part in LOEUF's activities for a whole week.
Sudhir Suri becomes partner
Since January first 2011, Mr Sudhir Suri, a long time business partner of L'OEUF, joined the group of partners including Daniel Pearl, Mark Poddubiuk and Bernard Olivier.
L'OEUF wins the NDG cultural center competition

"05.10.2010 /// The jury chaired by Dan S. Hanganu has selected the team of Atelier Big City, Fichten Soiferman et Associés and L’ŒUF as winner of the architectural design competition for the future Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Cultural Centre.
L'OEUF amongst the 4 finalists for the St-Laurent sports complex competition
Last September 14 and 15, the jury gathered in order to determine the finalists amongst the 20 different teams that had presented their application for the St-Laurent sports complex competition. On September 20, the district council chose 4 teams to be the finalists in this competition, here they are :
- Saucier + Perrotte Architectes - Hughes Condon Marler Architects / SNC Lavalin inc / Agence Ter, paysagistes, urbanistes
- Saia Barbarese Topouzanov / Hudon Julien Croft associés / Bouthillette Parizeau et associés inc, AECOM Tecsult / Vlan Paysages
Public presentation of the finalists for the NDG cultural center competition
Public presentation of the finalists for the NDG cultural center competition. This event is a first in the competition world in Quebec. As announced, the presentation of the finalist projects of the architecture competition for the new NDG cultural centre will be public. It will take place on September 16th, between 4h00 pm and 9h00 pm, Oscar Peterson room, 7141 Sherbrooke street West, Montreal.
Here are the 4 teams of finalists at this last stage :
• Atelier Big City, Fichten Soiferman et associés, L'Oeuf;
• Chevalier Morales architectes, Busby Perkins + Will;
Conférence au SAIE de Mexico
Last June 25, Bernard Olivier, partner at L'OEUF, presented a conference at the "Salón Internacional de la Edificación. The conference was part of a day of presentations on sustainable development in which Arturo Aispuro, Raul Huitron, Enrique Duarte, Jennifer Hassey et Jose Picciotto were involved.
Bernard Olivier's conference focused on L'OEUF's recent work on sustainable urbanism.
L'OEUF at the HOLCIM Mexico forum 2010
From April 14 to 17, Daniel Pearl and Bernard Olivier, partners at LOEUF, took part in the HOLCIM forum 2010, which was held in Mexico this year. They participated in visits on social arrangements and infrastructure; visit of Nexahualcoyotl, the largest unplanned community in Mexico. They also attended presentations given by Armory Lovins, chairman and chief scientist, Rocky Mountain Institute, titled “No more inefficiency” and Thom Mayne, principal, Morphosis Architects, titled “Nothing stands alone”.
