Sustainable Architecture

Environmental issues are an integral part of L'ŒUF's design process, which is analogous to natural phenomena and can be summarized by the following principles: waste equals food; use current solar income and encourage diversity. In each project, L'ŒUF attempts to simulate these natural principles in building. We have succeeded in a number of projects in demonstrating the cost-effectiveness and the environmental benefits of waste management, reuse and recycling. We are very conscious of the interaction of a project with the sun - making the most of daylight, passive solar gain as well as controlling glare and excessive heat gain. We take particular pleasure in conceiving projects that foster diversity, offering a variety of accommodations for various lifestyles.
