Chantal Auger

Intern architect

Chantal Auger is a recent master’s graduate in architecture from the Université de Montréal. Originally from Winnipeg, she holds particular interest in traditional methods of making, such as woodworking, spinning yarn, and ceramics, to explore the ways in which architecture can promote interactions and stimulate ideas through spatial experiences. Between 2015 and 2017, Chantal was a research assistant for the L.E.A.P. laboratory, her focus was a basic research on language and architecture. She also worked for the Canadian Competitions Catalogue, translating many works and also partaking in research that seeks to better understand the potential of competitions for the profession.
