Jennifer Benis grew up in France and did her architectural education at the École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Lyon.
In school her studies specialized in sustainable development and humane habitat. Through her education and work experiences she developed deep convictions about the importance of personal interactions, the human dimension, and social justice. It is her firm belief that in an ever more connected and accelerating world, the human dimension of design has never been more important.
For years Jennifer has worked collaboratively in French firms on projects of all scales including large internal projects, numerous community housing projects, and various urban design propositions. In 2015 Jennifer won the ecoquartier Vallin-Fier competition for the construction of an eco-district in France.
Through these different experiences, Jennifer had the opportunity to collaborate closely with landscape architects, designers, and engineers specialized in sustainable design giving her a vision of global responsibility that includes the whole range of related architectural disciplines.
Convinced that architecture must be designed FOR and WITH people Jennifer has joined the team at L’OEUF to do just this.
