René Chevalier

As a defender of healthy project development from both an ecological and an economic standpoint, René is a strong proponent of sustainability throughout all aspects of his work. He specialises in building science and construction techniques, and is very proficient and thorough in all the tasks he undertakes. He has a particular interest in new materials and technologies. René graduated from the School of Architecture at the University of Laval in 1982 and has been a member of the l’Ordre des Architectes du Quebec since 1984. Throughout his career, he has worked on a variety of projects but now concentrates on single-family and multi-residential, hospitals and long-term care facilities (CHLSD), and specialised construction like golf course pavilions and underground metro stations.
